Causal Sunday

Just a causal Sunday for me. Had breakfast and lounged around the house. Right about now, my brother and I are planning on taking his dog, Thor (an Alaskan Klee Kai) to a near by beach or pier. Not so sure which yet. All I know is that it's kind of windy so, I'll be adding a scarf and my leather jacket to this outfit! Happy Sunday!

Moi Ombre

Since Fall, ombre has been in: ombre hair, nails, shirts, pants, furniture and where ever your mind could take you. However, did you ever think of OMBRE LIPS?! I am in love with all things ombre, but lips? What do you think? I have to say, I kinda like it! I'm not sure if I'm ready for the first lips. But for the second one, I can't wait to give it a try!

Ran around town with my cousin today, before my appointment with my dentist. So, what do we do after I was done? We went behind my dentist's office and took a few pictures! It may be too "fancy" for the dentist, but it was super comfy! No lie! Imagine laying on an uncomfortable chair and being poked around...inside your mouth for hours (okay...maybe not hours, but you get the point).  Meanwhile being in some nice pair of jeggings and tank, almost feels like being in pajamas! Pair it up with some wedges; comfort and beauty all around. Let me know what you wear to the dentist!

You didn't think heading into your fifties could be so colorful and glamorous, did yah? The secret is to show off what your mama gave you (or in my case, I'm showing off what I gave to my mama for Mother's Day) with a balance. Give a little not a lot sort of a thing. Being in your fifties, there are boundaries, boundaries that are there to fence you in; limiting you from the latest fashion. But don't you stop being sexy and daring! How you may ask? Especially with all the color-blocking and "highlighter"  tops and skinnies you see walking on the runways of Milan, young ladies on the street, or perhaps even your daughter! Whatever it may be, you'll be able to rock it too...and maybe your daughter will be borrowing your clothes!
